About Us

The Long Road Project is a nonprofit initiative devoted to healing lives and communities through safe, affordable housing for people in recovery paired with coordinated, evidence-based support that heals mind, body, and spirit. We’re designing our RV communities, first in the Pacific Northwest and then nationwide, as places where people can rest, rebuild, and find meaning, graduating from our two-year program as RV owners and with a path toward gainful employment.

Our approach combines housing, behavioral modification, and long-term recovery emphasizing sustainability and dignity. Residents will receive professional support, life-skills training, job readiness, and access to holistic health care while living in safe, nurturing surroundings.

Our current operational goals are to purchase land in Washington state, refurbish and fill our first RVs, and begin our clinical and community-based programming by 2027.

Become a supporter to help create lasting change: stronger families, reduced relapse and recidivism rates, cleaner neighborhoods, and a healthier, more resilient Washington.
