Nate Davis

Deputy Director of People and Communication


For the past 28 years Nate has been working in civil engineering. His primary focus has been as a design team member specializing in site development, infrastructure, stormwater and wastewater. For over 20 years Nate has managed multiple team members and has helped to build one of the most successful engineering firms in the Pacific Northwest. Some of his most notable projects include multiple national parks projects, retail and commercial developments, residential, plats, multi-family including low-income developments for Habitat for Humanity. Roads, trails and even underground utility tunnels used by local Aerospace companies. In his personal life, Nate is a father, husband and devotes his free time coaching youth sports in his local community. He is a firm believer in service and giving what he can to make other people’s lives better.”

Katelyn-Reilly

Katelyn Reilly

Internal and External Communications Advisor 


Based in Lake Stevens, WA, Katelyn is a writer and experienced business leader excited to be supporting the Long Road Project in an advisory capacity. Currently the co-CEO of professional services company Steyer Associates, Katelyn has a background in enterprise tech and media and twenty years’ worth of hard-won operations, strategic communications, and people-first management expertise. The Long Road Project’s mission feels urgent to Katelyn, who believes deeply in the power of grace and community to transform lives for the better.

Shawnaa Smith

Deputy Director of Internal Operations 


Shawnaa Smith, MBA, is a seasoned finance and operations executive with over two decades of leadership experience across nonprofit, tribal, and government sectors. As a results-driven professional, she has successfully managed multi-million-dollar budgets, overseen complex grant portfolios, and led teams through transformative organizational growth. Beyond her financial acumen, Shawnaa brings a deep sense of empathy and commitment to her work with individuals affected by addiction and homelessness. Through her roles directing finance for community-based organizations. programs and extensive community service, she has supported initiatives that fund housing, recovery, and wraparound services for vulnerable populations. Her unique combination of analytical precision and human-centered leadership allows her to bridge fiscal accountability with compassion, ensuring that resources are not only managed effectively but also truly change lives.

Denise-Manly

Denise Manly

Clinical Director 


Denise Manly is a dedicated Substance Use Disorder Professional with over a decade of experience in the field of chemical dependency treatment. Throughout her career, Denise has demonstrated a deep passion for helping individuals overcome addiction, navigate life’s challenges, and achieve their personal goals. Her approach is grounded in compassion, respect, and empathy, meeting each person exactly where they are in their recovery journey. Denise believes in fostering hope and resilience, offering guidance that empowers individuals to build lasting change and personal growth.
Outside of her professional life, Denise is a proud mother of three adult children and a loving grandmother to three wonderful grandchildren. Their love and strength continue to inspire her daily, fueling her commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
